On Thursday 09/05/24, at approximately 05:06 hours, I, Deputy Hubbard (2359), along with Deputy Raines, responded to the location of [1900 BLOCK] Mallard Ave. Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance between the complainant, [VICTIM ], and her ex-boyfriend, Sylvester Marcus.
Once on scene Deputies met with the Complainant Ms. [VICTIM ], who advised us that her ex-boyfriend, Mr. Marcus had made multiple attempts to get into her residence. When failing to make entry into the residence, Mr. Marcus stepped away for a moment. When Ms. [VICTIM ] stepped outside, Mr. Marcus had a rush towards the door one more time to attempt to make entry. At that time, Ms. [VICTIM ] pushed Mr. Marcus off of her, which resulted in Mr. Marcus punching her in the face, knocking out a minimum of two front teeth on the bottom jaw for fleeing the scene.
Mr. Marcus later returned to the scene, where we located him in the residence in bed, when Deputies made with Mr. Marcus he did state that he was not the aggresor, that Ms. [VICTIM ] was the one fighting him. Mr. Marcus also stated that he has text messages that shows where Ms. [VICTIM ] had told him to come back to the residence tricking him into coming back.
