On February 8, 2018 at 1125 hours, I met with Deputy Holmes who had responded to 4664 Sheraton Drive (ARC of Macon) in reference to Fiduciary Theft.
Upon arrival he explained he spoke with Ms. [WITNESS ] (quality manager) who advised him that on December 27, 2017 she confronted Sheena Sanders (suspect) in reference to money missing from patient accounts ($2650.00). She said the employees request money for items needed by patients, then the employee would either retrieve the item or take the patient to retrieve the items and she stated the purchases should only occur in Macon. She continued saying the employee should return the receipts or hand written statements for the item cost. She said they did locate several receipts and some were purchased in other cities. Ms. [WITNESS ] advised Sanders was asked about the unaccounted items and receipts on the December 27, 2017 and Sanders left her keys, cell phone and other company owned items on the desk and quit on December 28, 2017. She gave copies of correspondence by email, policies, employment forms and patient account information which will be turned into central record to be added to this report.
I also ed property investigations in reference to the call and the case will be turned over to them for review.
A case number was given to the complainant/victim and she was advised to the Sheriff’s Office with any further information obtained.
