Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE #1 on May 22, 2026]On May 22, 2026, at approximately 2202 hours, I, Officer Griner, was dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Watson Street, Lot [REDACTED], within the corporate limits of the City of Nashville, Berrien County, Georgia, in reference to affray which led to an arrest.While enroute to the scene, Sgt. West arrived in the area and observed a 2020 Chevrolet truck leaving the scene. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Middle School Circle and Dogwood Drive. I then made my way to make contact with Sgt. West and the traffic stop. I made contact with a male subject and a female subject, later identified asChristopher Wilsonand [VICTIM #1]. I asked what happened. [VICTIM #1] stated she had gone over to her Ex-boyfriends residence in attempt to retrieve some property. [VICTIM #1]’s ex-boyfriend was later identified as Jonathan Hendley. [VICTIM #1] advised Hendley was irate and threw a shirt at her.Sgt. West left the traffic stop to make contact with Hendley, who was still at his residence. I stayed with [VICTIM #1] and Wilson and asked Wilson what happened. Wilson stated he was trying to make contact with [VICTIM #1] to make sure she was safe due to Hendley supposedly striking [VICTIM #1] in the past. Wilson explained when he arrived at Hendley’s residence, he stayed in the road and Hendley made his way towards him and struck him in the face. Wilson stated he fought back to protect and defend himself. I observed fresh red marks on Wilson. Wilsons glasses were also broken. Wilson stated he and Hendley fought in the roadway.Sgt. West called me on the phone and advised Hendley also had visible marks on him as well. Sgt. West explained, Hendley advised Wilson walked up to him and begin striking him. Sgt. West placed Hendley under arrest for disorderly conduct. I then advised Wilson he was under arrest for disorderly conduct. Handcuffs were placed on Wilson, double locked and checked for proper fit. I placed Wilson in the back passenger side of my marked, City of Nashville, patrol unit. I transported Wilson to the Berrien County LEC where he was turned over to jail staff. Sgt. West transported Hendley to the Berrien County LEC where he was turned over to jail staff as well.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on May 22, 2026]On Friday, May 22, 2026, at approximately 2200 hours, I was dispatched to a fight at [300 BLOCK] Watson Street Lot [REDACTED]. Upon arrival I was flagged down and advised the Chevrolet Silverado was involved in the fight. I activated my emergency lights and conducted atraffic stop. I made contact with the driver Christopher Wilson identified by his driver’s license. I advised Wilson of the stop, and he stated he was checking on his girlfriend because he had not heard from her. Wilson stated he stayed in the road and Jonathon Hendley came to the road and attacked him. Wilson stated he protected himself from Hendley. Officer Griner arrived on scene, and I went to speak with the other party.I made contact Hendley at [300 BLOCK] Watson Street lot [REDACTED]. Hendley stated his ex-[VICTIM #1] came to his house. Hendley stated Wilson showed up causing a scene and walked into his yard and started fighting him, so he defended himself.I observed injuries to the left cheek, right eye, right knee, and left hand to Hendley. I called Ofc. Griner, and he stated Wilson had injuries also. I advised Hendley he was being arrested for disorderly conductand to place his hands behind his back. Hendley was handcuffed to the rear double locked and checked for fit. Hendley was searched incident to arrest uncovering no contraband. I allowed Hendley’s stepfather to attempt to get him a shirt, but he started cursing and yelling. I tried move Hendley and tried to snatch away, I placed my arm between Hendley’s back and arm and escorted him to my patrol vehicle. Hendley was transported to the Berrien County Jail and issued a citation for disorderly conduct.[End of Narrative].
