I was updated by dispatch the subject was Tyler Sierra, who had just been reported as jumping out of a vehicle on Felton Road at the railroad tracks claiming he was suicidal. I attempted to make with Tyler via phone call. I was able to get a hold of him, however, he did not wish to speak with me and began cussing at me. I had prior knowledge that his two month old baby had passed away two days ago. Tyler’s adress was [50 BLOCK] Valley View Drive and I responded to his adress for a welfare check.Upon arrival I met with Tyler. Tyler was outside of his residence yelling off of his porch and was clearly upset. Tyler then directed his anger at law enforcement. Tyler stated he had been drinking. I tried several times to calm Tyler down and have him return inside of his residence. Tyler began walking around the apartment complex and continued yelling and cussing. Children and other neighbors were able to hear the comotion and began exiting their residence’s to watch. Tyler was told several more times to please go inside of his residence to sleep it off. Tyler than stepped into the street causing a vehicle to slam on their brakes.Tyler was then placed under arrest and placed in the rear seat of my patrol car. Tyler stated he was hurting due to his daughter that had passed away. I was worried that Tyler would continue to escalate his behavior. Tyler was transported to the Bartow Jail and turned over to jail staff without incident. Tyler was given a citiation for Disorderly Conduct.[End of Narrative].
