On Saturday June 29th 2024
, at 1110 hours I was driving north on Joe Frank Harris Pkwy when I observed a male subject lying on the ground next to a tree on the east side of the roadway.
I pulled over at [5100 BLOCK] Joe Frank Harris Pkwy where I made with the male/ Michael Lee. After waking him up, I noticed a pack of small bottles of Fireball alcohol and a black grocery bag with content in it.
When I began talking to Michael, I could smell a strong smell of alcohol coming from his person. While questioning Michael trying to determine what he was doing at this location or where he was going, he became argumentative and refused to answer questions. I further observed that several of the fireball bottles were empty and he had other types of alcohol including bud light and malt liquor.
Michael was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct (county ordinance) and transported to the Bartow County Jail without further incident.
