, Cartersville Officer E. Blackstock responded to Drowned Valley Brewing Company, 4 South Tennessee Street in reference to a hit and run accident. Upon his arrival the victim in this case, stated his vehicle being struck by a white Cadillac Escalade pickup truck within the parking lot and leaving the scene shortly after.
Victim’s vehicle is described as a white Chevrolet Tahoe with Georgia license plate. The damage to Victim’s vehicle is located on the front right side due to the accident within the parking lot of Drowned Valley Brewing Company. Victim provided security footage after uploading it Polaris andthe security footage reveals the following:
A white Cadillac Escalade pickup truck with a several stickers on the back windshield, specifically a Georgia Bulldogs logo, is seen entering the back parking lot of 4 South Tennessee Street on Saturday, August 24, 2024
, at approximately 1922 hours. The vehicle is driven by a white male, later identified as the registered owner, John Henderson. The vehicle attempts to park beside Victim’s vehicle and strikes the front right side of Victim’s vehicle. Victim’s vehicle can be seen moving side to side from the impact of the collision. The white Escalade then immediately reverses from the parking spot and leaves the scene.

, I spoke with Victim via telephone who advised he wished to press charges in this incident.
While viewing Flock Safety Systems, a white Cadillac Escalade matching the suspect vehicle in this case was observed travelling North Bound on US41 @ County Line in Bartow County. The vehicle shown on Flock was bearing a Georgia license plate. A GCIC inquiry revealed the vehicle returned to a John Henderson (DOB: xxxxxxx). Mr. Henderson resides Cartersville, GA.
Shortly after obtaining Mr. Henderson’s information, the vehicle seen in the security footage of Drowned Valley Brewing Company’s parking lot and Flock Safety Systems was in the driveway of xxxxxxxxxxx. After locating the suspect vehicle, I immediately observed damage consistent with that of the accident on the front right side of Mr. Henderson’s Escalade. was then made with Mr. Henderson, and he was advised of his Miranda Rights. Mr. Henderson stated he understood his rights and agreed to speak with me further.
Mr. Henderson stated he is the only one to drive his vehicle to his knowledge and went to the Drowned Valley Brewery over the weekend. Mr. Henderson was shown a photo of his vehicle on Flock Safety Systems and confirmed the vehicle was his. Mr. Henderson also confirmed he was operating the vehicle in the parking lot of the brewery but did not know he struck Victim’s vehicle.
Mr. Henderson left the scene of the accident and did not attempt to notify Victim of the accident.Photos of Mr. Henderson’s vehicle was taken and uploaded to Polaris.
Victim was provided a case number and advised of his crime victim right’s information. A warrant for Hit and Run (M) was obtained and a copy was attached to this report.
