[REDACTED] in reference to a domestic.Upon my arrival, I spoke with the caller who stated he and his mother Ms. Catherine Thomason were in an argument earlier this day after she had a few alcoholic beverages. Victim stated that she was upset about her vehicle being reposed. Victim stated that the argument led outside where the argument became more intense. Victim stated that his mother grabbed her gun a black .22 revolver out of her vehicle. Victim stated that Ms. Thomason pointed the gun at him and stated, “You want to play”. Victim stated that he did not know if the gun was loaded at the time. Victim stated that he grabbed the gun by the barrel and snatched it out of Ms.Thomason’s hand. Victim stated he took the gun back inside and hid it. Victim stated that he noticed the gun was unloaded after he got inside the residence. Victim stated that he came back outside and called 911. Victim stated Ms. Thomason went back inside the residence and locatedthe gun. Victim stated that Ms. Thomason did have access to ammunition inside the . Victim stated that Ms. Thomason locked herself inside the residence and threw his dog outside.Victim’s girlfriend was on the scene and stated she and Victim were in the bedroom watching a movie. Witness stated that she heard Victim and Ms. Thomason arguing outside the staircase. Witness stated she walked outside and saw Ms. Thomason inside her vehicle. Ms. [REDACTED] stated she saw Victim get inside the passenger seat while Ms. Thomason was in the driver seat of the vehicle. Witness stated she saw Victim grab a gun from Ms. Thomason.While I was on scene, I observed Ms. Thomason walk outside the residence. She then returned to the residence. Due to the severity of the call, I did not approach the door to speak with Ms. Thomason. Bartow County 911 attempted to Ms. Thomason by phone but was unsuccessful. Multiple officers with Cartersville PD and Bartow County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene but negative was made with Ms. Thomason.
