Upon my arrival, I made with [VICTIM ] and Mrs. [REDACTED]. [VICTIM ] stated that her boyfriend Alexander Collins had come drunk and had started a fight with her because he stated she was cheating.[VICTIM ] stated that Mr. Collins grabbed her by her hair and dragged her around the apartment while kicking her and punching her in the side, chest and head. [VICTIM ] stated Mr. Collins had wrapped both his hands around her neck and choked her, cutting her airway off and nearly making her pass out. [VICTIM ] stated she thought she was going to die when he choked her.I observed bruising on the left and right sides of [VICTIM ]’ chest, a knot on her forehead, a bruise on her hip, bruising on her arm which were consistent with finger marks, and a bruise on her scalp.Mrs. [REDACTED] took pictures of the bruises due to the sensitive nature of the areas. I provided her with a Polaris link and confirmed the photos were uploaded.[VICTIM ] was informed of her Crime Victim’s Rights Information.I secured warrants on Mr. Collins for Aggravated Assault- Strangulation and Battery. While in the area I observed a male I identified as Alexander COLLINS driving a gray Chevrolet Tahoe on Tennessee St. I had prior knowledge of COLLINS having two active warrants for his arrest. One for Aggravated Assault by Strangulation, and one for Battery. Both being taken by the Cartersville Police Department on March 2nd, 2025. (CPD case number 2025-00004893)I initiated a traffic stop on the Tahoe, on MLK Jr. Dr. where COLLINS pulled over, and I was able to take him into custody without incident. The warrants were confirmed by Bartow 9-1-1 prior to COLLINS being transported to the Bartow County Adult Detention Center.COLLINS was accepted at the Bartow County Adult Detention Center without incident, and the Tahoe was released to a licensed driver.[End of Narrative]. , I responded to [100 BLOCK] Jones St in reference to a dispute that occurred on 3/1/2025
at approximately 2200 hours. Upon my arrival, I made with [VICTIM ] and Mrs. [REDACTED]. [VICTIM ] stated that her boyfriend Alexander Collins had come drunk and had started a fight with her because he stated she was cheating.
