Discretion is advised.]I spoke with [VICTIM #1] via telephone in reference to financial transaction card theft.[VICTIM #1] that stated a neighbor, Elizabeth Peeler, came to her residence to assist her with making a mobile pickup order through the Walmart App. [VICTIM #1] stated Peeler input the debit card information into the Walmart App on her cellphone. [VICTIM #1] stated she raised concerns to Peeler about having the debit card information, and Peeler advised [VICTIM #1] she would delete the information when the Walmart order was complete. [VICTIM #1] also advised Peeler wrote the card information down to use. [VICTIM #1] stated after Peeler left her residence she noticed her debit card was missing from the dining room table.[VICTIM #1] stated that after her card was noticed to be missing, approximately $5,000 has been fraudulently used for multiple internet purchases. [VICTIM #1] stated she contacted Midsouth, and was advised to report the incident to the Sheriff’s Office. [VICTIM #1] stated she has had the card deactivated.[VICTIM #1] is to obtain the transaction history from Midsouth and provide it.[End of Narrative].
