I responded to [100 BLOCK] Youngblood Road in reference to possible threats.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with Deon Choates. Deon stated his father, [REDACTED], was threatening his girlfriend. I spoke with [REDACTED], who stated he has never met or seen Deon’s girlfriend.
Prior to receiving this call probation called the sheriff’s office and advised dispatch that Deon was acting irate. Probation was already in the area, and assisted me with the call.
Probation officer Sloan advised me that she had just been at the residence prior to the call for service. Officer Sloan stated that while she was at the residence, Deon got into an argument with [REDACTED]. Officer Sloan stated Deon advanced towards [REDACTED] in a aggressive manner. Officer Sloan stated she had to step between the two to de-escalate the situation. Officer Sloan stated Deon was still irate, but she was able to calm him down.
I placed Deon under arrest and transported him to the jail. Deon was turned over to jail staff with a complete arrest/booking sheet.
I will secure a state warrant for disorderly conduct.
