I responded code 1 (routine response).Once I arrived at the scene, I made with the caller who was talking to Lt Guest. The caller was identified as [VICTIM #1]. I spoke with [VICTIM #1], and I asked her to tell me what happened. She informed me that she and her husband were driving back from the Winer Moose lounge. The husband is identified as Harold Maddox. [VICTIM #1] stated that they were both drinking, and they had an argument on their way back . Once the argument started to escalate, [VICTIM #1] advised me that she was driving, and then Harold just punched her in the mouth. The punch caused her tooth to chip and a cut to her bottom lip.Once they arrived at the residence, Harold told [VICTIM #1] to leave the house. [VICTIM #1] refused to leave due to them being a married couple, and they both live in the residence. [VICTIM #1] called her brother to come to the house due to Harold’s erratic behavior. [VICTIM #1]’s brother is identified as [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] continues to inform me that Harold continued to be argumentative and told [WITNESS #1] to make [VICTIM #1] leave the house. When [WITNESS #1] arrived at the residence, that’s when [VICTIM #1] called Law enforcement. While [VICTIM #1] and Harold were separated, she advised that she saw Harold go outside to the front door and didn’t see him again for the rest of the night. She believed that he left the area before we arrived.Once I got [VICTIM #1]’s information and her side of the story, I spoke with [WITNESS #1] and asked him what he saw when he arrived. [WITNESS #1] informed me that when he arrived at the house, Harold told him to get [VICTIM #1] out of here. [WITNESS #1] was trying to calm everyone down, but Harold continued to be argumentative with [VICTIM #1]. Harold went outside to the front of the house and came back inside, according to [WITNESS #1]. Harold went back outside, and that was the last time [WITNESS #1] had seen him.[WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #1] advised me that they believed he took the Cadillac Deville, but they don’t know where he went. Harold was not at the residence when we arrived, and we ed the curtilage of the house to be sure. Once I finished receiving information from [WITNESS #1] Deputy Simmons and I went to for Harold around the area, but we couldn’t locate him.[VICTIM #1] was given a Domestic Violence pamphlet along with a case number.
