On 10/01/2024 at 1117 hours, I DS Lamb responded to this location in reference to a dispute where a male subject later identified as, Matthew Mckinney was acting disorderly.
Upon arrival, I met with the reporting party, [REDACTED], who stated that the building had been suffering from a gas leak, resulting in fumes to enter her business, Local Nutrition. As a result she called a gas company to take a look at the line. The gas company then shut off all gas to the building. Mckinney the owner of The Draft Room, grew angry at this believing that [REDACTED] had his gas turned off without reason.
Mckinney then walked over to, Local Nutrition, demanding for the gas to be turned on. [REDACTED] advised Mckinney that there was a leak. Mckinney then began to scream and curse at [REDACTED], calling her “a stupid bith and asking who the fuk she is” [REDACTED] then asked him to leave to which Mckinney just kept repeating “fuk you and go fuk yourself”. This was done in the presence of two juveniles, REDACTED BY AGENCY and REDACTED BY AGENCY.
I then walked over to The Draft Room to speak with Mckinney. When asked what happened he stated that he was angry his gas was turned off so as a result he walked over and cussed out the female at the counter. When asked if he thought that was okay he stated that’s how we do things in “Philly” and that they are just words.
Due to Mckinney acting in a violent and tumultuous manner and doing so in the presence of two juveniles who were in fear he was placed under arrest for disorderly conducted. He was the transported to the jail without further incident.
