Discretion is advised.]On 05/25/2025 at 16:00 I Corporal Pitts ands K9 Garren were dispatched to speak to [VICTIM #1] in reference to her son, Thomas Williams, causing a disturbance and being irate for several days.Upon arrival I spoke to Thomas who came outside and in a raised voice, asked what we wanted. We then explained we were there in reference to him causing a disturbance and scaring his mother. Thomas went to look for his mother and came back and we advised him to set on the steps. Thomas then started explaining he was mad because the drug task force robbed him last year, he wasn’t leaving because he had nowhere to go, and for us to arrest him and get it over with.I was then advised by K9 Garren to speak to [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that Thomas has been ranting and causing a disturbance for at least 5 days and he has become progressively more irate over the days. [VICTIM #1] stated he has been ranting about being robbed, hallucinating and seeing people that are not there, and screaming at her over these issues. [VICTIM #1] then stated that Thomas started at 06:00 today slamming doors and screaming and has not stopped and she is scared for his and now her safety and wished for him to go to the hospital or to jail if the issue permits.With all other options obsolete, I advised Thomas that he could go to jail or go to the hospital to get a voluntary evaluation and he chose jail. I initially placed 2 pairs of handcuffs on Thomas’s back but he could not sit correctly in my vehicle. I then placed 1 pair of cuffs and cuffed him in the front, checked the cuffs for fit and double locked them for safety. I then transported Thomas to the MCSO detention center where he was TOT jail staff.[End of Narrative].
