Once was made with Driver 1 stated she did not see the kids until it was too late, and struck both pedestrian’s. I was unable to speak with pedestrian 2 due to his condition, and pedestrian 1 did not remember what happened until after the collision.Witness 1 stated he saw the two Pedestrians begin riding South in the parking lot of [300 BLOCK] Old Mill Rd on an electric scooter. As they passed the parked vehicle’s the witness stated he saw Vehicle 1 strike both Pedestrians.Accident investigation revealed Driver 1 was at fault for the accident due to failure to yield to pedestrians. Area of impact of Vehicle 1 was front end causing minor damage.Both pedestrians reported injuries on scene pedestrian 2 had a multiple visible injuries on his body and was transported to piedmont Cartersville.
