at approximately 1530 hours, deputies responded to [1400 BLOCK] Hephzibah Keysville Road in reference to a 911 call initiated by Johnnie Murrah. Murrah advised BCSO disptach that his ex-girlfriend, Teri Meadows was onscene yelling and messing up the driveway (per the CAD). Murrah advised dispatch that he had started the eviction and TPO process on Meadows and wished to have her removed from the property. Meadows then called via the admin line and stated that “she was not doing what Murrahs was accusing of her doing” and that she had left the residence. Lt. Barrs made with Murrahs at the listed residence. Meadows refused to return to the residence. I was able to confirm via Records that Murrah had the TPO dismissed on Meadows on August 27th, 2024
.
Deputies are familiar with both parties due to false reports made through the 911 and BCSO admin lines. Murrahs has gone as far as to tell BCSO dispatch that weapons were involved, thus rushing the deputy’s arrival and heightening the circumstances surrounding the “domestic”. Murrah and Meadows have called deputies on several occasions with miscellaneous complaints that were not substantiated; disregarding deputies after calling for assistance or both parties leaving the residence after calling for assistance. Murrah has also filed several evictions on Meadows, using the courts and Burke County deputies as a way to scare Meadows off of the property and then dismissing the evictions and TPOs once Meadows is served.
BCSO 911 Center was able to provide paperwork on the call log involving Meadows and Murrah. Deputies have responded to a total of 70 plus calls to the residence with approximately 27 calls going through 911. Civil Service will be able to provide the number of times eviction notices have been served at a later date but several were provided via 911 Call Center. All paperwork was turned over to the Magistrate Court.
Johnnie Murrah was placed under arrest and transported to BCDC for Unlawful Conduct During 911 (a)(2). A warrant for Meadows was secured via Magistrate Court.
