Discretion is advised.]On 04/23/2025, Deputy Davis was dispatched to [70 BLOCK] Roy Ave for the reports of a domestic where the offender had attempted to run over the complainant with a car.Upon Deputy Davis’s arrival, he met with the complainant, who had fled the due to fear of the offender. She stated to Deputy Davis that she and the offender, with whom she lives with, had gotten into an argument after she refused to let the offender use a vehicle that he had sold to her due to him not having a valid license. The complainant stated that she attempted to leave the room. However, the offender refused to let her leave by blocking her with his body and, at one point, putting his forehead against hers in a provoking manner. The complainant stated that she was able to squeeze past the offender and flee outside, where the offender took her black handbag and stole her Drivers License. She stated furthermore that the offender entered the listed blue VW Jetta and reversed at a high rate speed before driving forward in an aggressive manner towards her in an attempt to strike her.While speaking with the complainant, the offender returned to the scene on foot. Deputy Davis asked the offender about the incident the offender stated it was only a verbal argument. Deputy Davis asked him where the vehicle he left in was, and he stated that he did not leave in a vehicle and that the listed blue VW Jetta belonged to his father, but he was unaware of where it was. Corporal Lewis ed the area and was able to locate it at Battlefield Collision. He spoke with the worker there, who stated that he had heard a car door shut in the time frame, which was consistent if the offender had taken it there. Deputy Davis ran the offender through NCIC, and he returned with a revoked Driver’s license out of Georgia.Deputy Davis was invited into the by the complainant, who led him to a computer that was shared by her and the offender to watch the ring video footage. Deputy Davis observed the video to be consistent with the complainant’s recollection and observed the offender leaving in the driver’s seat of the blue VW Jetta onto a public roadway. Deputy Davis handcuffed the offender behind the back, checked for fit, ed where the complainant’s drivers license was found, placed in the right rear of his patrol vehicle, and seat-belted in. Deputy Davis had the complainant send him the videos of the incident and complete a victim-witness form. Deputy Davis uploaded these items to this report. Deputy Davis transported the offender to the Catoosa County Detention Center and transferred him over to jail staff without incident. Deputy Davis checked his patrol vehicle prior to and post arrest with no contraband found. Deputy Davis shall be seeking state warrants.[End of Narrative].
