On October 12, 2024
, Deputies were again dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Kingdom Hall Rd. in reference to Brandon Kirby causing a disturbance at [VICTIM ]’s residence. It was said that Brandon was at this location beating on a door and hitting himself and generally causing a breech of the peace. Deputies previously went to this residence for a similar incident but upon their arrival, Brandon fled into the woods.
Deputy Smith went to the residence and I went down Old Federal Rd. South and pulled into another unrelated location. I walked through the yard toward the address on Kingdom Hall and I could hear Brandon screaming loudly, I waited in the dark and observed and heard A male coming through the woods, when the male came out of the woods I turned my flashlight on and ordered him to lay on the ground, he complied. I then went over to him and told him to place his hands behind his back, eventually with persuasion he complied.
I then walked the male who was identified as Brandon Kirby back to my patrol car where I gave him some water per his request. Kirby was transported to the Murray County Jail without incident.
