Amos and Deputy Long, responded to [100 BLOCK] Bufford Ridley Road due to a Domestic Dispute.When arriving I Deputy Weaver detained Clinton Coker due to the information was was informed by dispatch. I then spoke with the caller [VICTIM ] and she said that she asked Clinton to make her some rice because they do not have power and have to use a fire. [VICTIM ] said that he got mad and said that she doesn’t do anything for herself and while yelling at her about the situation was tapping her on the side of her head with his cell phone. She said she then called her mother so she could hear it. She said then she asked her mother for some food and he got mad again and told her to get out of the house they live in together and that is when she called dispatch.I then spoke with Clinton and he said she asked him to make rice and he told her no because she never cooks for him. Clinton also said he didn’t hit her but then said if he did he didn’t mean to with his phone.I then asked Dispatch while they was on the live video chat if they seen them yelling and Dispatch said that [VICTIM ] was telling him to get away and Clinton was yelling at [VICTIM ] and would not stop.Deputy Fields then transported [VICTIM ] to the Crisis Center.Clinton was then placed under arrest and transported to the Murray County Detention Center and turned over to the Jail Staff.
