WALTON COUNTY, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged three minors in connection to the kidnapping and murder of 23-year-old Adrian Wofford in Social Circle, Georgia.

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, authorities charged Charles Johnson, 17, and Christian Johnson, 15, both of Social Circle, GA, along with Trayvon Means, 16, of Gainesville, FL. Each faces multiple charges, including hijacking a motor vehicle, kidnapping, false imprisonment, armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and felony murder.

The investigation began on September 18, 2024, when the Social Circle Police Department requested assistance from the GBI after Wofford was found dead on Carver Drive with multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities later arrested the three suspects in Gainesville, FL, on unrelated charges. They were already in custody when served with the Georgia warrants, and extradition proceedings are now underway.
