CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. – Students at Utopian Academy for the Arts High School will soon gain hands-on experience in the music and entertainment industry through a new initiative from The Ludacris Foundation. Founded by Grammy-winning rapper and actor Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges, the nonprofit is introducing the "TechTunes" program to provide students with real-world training in cutting-edge entertainment technology.
The program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue careers in the evolving entertainment industry, offering insight into music production, sound engineering, and digital media.
Ludacris, who was born in Champaign, Illinois, and later moved to Atlanta, launched his career as a DJ before rising to fame as a rapper and entrepreneur. In the 1990s, he founded the record label Disturbing tha Peace, which helped shape Atlanta’s hip-hop scene.
