Discretion is advised.]On February 26, 2025, at approximately 19:20 hours, I responded to a report of a physical domestic disturbance at [1000 BLOCK] W Victory Drive.Upon my arrival, I made with Mr. Antonio Dickens, who was conversing with other officers (Ofc. T Graham and Corporal Contreras) on the porch. I entered the residence and made with Ms. [VICTIM ] who was inside the house with her son, Mr. [WITNESS ], and her daughter, Ms. [REDACTED].Although I did not obtain a formal statement from Ms. [VICTIM ] regarding the incident, I noted the presence of petechiae around her eyes and a scratch on her neck. Petechiae were observed by identifying red spots on Ms. [VICTIM ]’ eyes. I requested emergency medical services (EMS) to assess Ms. [VICTIM ]; however, she did not wish to go to the hospital.Throughout my presence and with other officers there, we ensured that Ms. [VICTIM ] and Mr. Dickens remained separated and out of earshot from one another.My shift supervisor, Corporal Hunter, requested a Family Violence detective. I remained in the residence with Ms. [VICTIM ] until the detective’s arrival. The detective conducted interviews with Ms. [VICTIM ] and her son, Mr. [WITNESS ], followed by a conversation with Mr. Dickens outside. After completing the individual interviews, the detective informed me of the following charges against Mr. Dickens:Aggravated Assault DVA: OCGA 16-5-21Battery DVA: OCGA 16-5-23.1I then placed Mr. Dickens under arrest, a incident to arrest was performed and he was secured in a fully marked patrol vehicle. I transported Mr. Dickens to Memorial Medical Center, where he was evaluated and medically cleared by medical staff. Afterward, I proceeded to transport him to the Chatham County Detention Center (CCDC), where he was formally booked.Ms. [VICTIM ] was issued a Case Report Number (CRN) and was informed about the resources available to her, specifically regarding a safe shelter. Although she did not wish to go to the safe shelter, she was informed that she could at a later time if she changed her mind.[End of Narrative]. On February 26, 2025
