Discretion is advised.]On 02/12/25 Ofc Conely (182) and I were patroling the area of Rebecca Street. We ran the tag of a silver Chrysler 300 Ga tag: [REDACTED] and the vehicle came back with a valid registration but the registered owner (Mr [WITNESS ]) came back with a suspended driver’s license for child support obligations. We observed the driver of the vehicle matched the registered owner and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the parking lot of 302 W Memorial Dr (Liberty Prayer Chapel). Upon making with the driver Mr [WITNESS ], we found Ms [VICTIM ] as the rear passenger. Mr [WITNESS ] acknowledged his license was suspended and stated he was trying to get his friend (Ms [VICTIM ]) out of a bad situation where she was in danger.Mr [WITNESS ] was informed to park his vehicle and have a licensed driver come move the vehicle back to his for him. We released Mr [WITNESS ] from the scene with a verbal warning and told him not to take his vehicle off private property or he could be arrested.Upon speaking with Ms [VICTIM ], she stated she was running from someone and had ed 911 dispatch. We ed dispatch and confirmed this was an active call. Ms [VICTIM ] stated she was running and hiding from Mr Animashaun Cole who she stated was her ex-boyfriend. Ms [VICTIM ] stated on 02/11/25 Mr Cole had punched her in her eye and caused scratches to her neck (see CRN: 250205727). Ms [VICTIM ] stated she was able to get away from Mr Cole the day prior and has been running from him. While speaking with Ms [VICTIM ], she described the vehicle Mr Cole was driving (older model Cadillac that was silver/gray). I observed the vehicle driving eastbound on Rebecca St. I notified central of my observations. We were able to identify the vehicle Mr Cole was driving as a 1989 Cadillac Broughman Ga tag: [REDACTED] with the registered owner being Ms [VICTIM ].Ms [VICTIM ] stated today Mr Cole was continuing to her phone and calling her phone from several numbers. During our investigation we saw text messages in Ms [VICTIM ]s phone. The text messages show continued from who she advised was Mr Cole. In these text messages Mr Cole stated, “[VICTIM ] if you dont call me asap you know whats next last night was just a sample but next time its over”. Mr Cole continued to Ms [VICTIM ] until he came to the at [400 BLOCK] Rebecca Street. Ms [VICTIM ] stated she was attempting to hide from Mr Cole at the residence.Ms [VICTIM ] stated in the text message thread Mr Cole was threatening to harm her. Ms [VICTIM ] stated Mr Cole threatened to “beat her as”. Ms [VICTIM ] stated Mr Cole threatened to do her worse than he did the night before. Ms [VICTIM ] stated Mr Cole found her at a friend’s house at Rebecca Street. Ms [VICTIM ] stated Mr Cole showed up to the attempting to push his way through the front door. Ms [VICTIM ] stated she attempted to leave out the back door and she could hear Mr Cole coming around to the back of the . Ms [VICTIM ] stated Mr Cole came to the back door and kicked the rear door of the as she ran out the front to escape Mr Cole. Ms [VICTIM ] stated she could hear Mr Cole say, “imma beat your mutherfuking as” as he was kicking the door. Ms [VICTIM ] was picked up by a friend (Mr [WITNESS ]) to help her escape Mr Cole. Officer Sayer (175) and Sgt Wong (143) located Mr Cole outside the residence of [400 BLOCK] Rebecca Street driving the vehicle described above. Officer Conley and I drove Ms [VICTIM ] back to the scene to conduct our interview of Mr Cole. Upon speaking with Mr Cole, he stated he never ed Ms [VICTIM ] nor threatened Ms [VICTIM ]. Mr Cole stated, “I never touched that girl”. Mr Cole showed Officer Conley his phone and Officer Conley saw several texting applications. Mr Cole showed the “text now” application to show he was not threatening Ms [VICTIM ] but had tried calling her several times. Mr Cole admitted to driving the vehicle and stated he could just walk . We spoke with Mr Cole and notified him he was being placed under arrest for terroristic threats and driving without a valid license after determining his Georgia driver’s had expired in 2016. We later reviewed the code section and it was updated to harassing communications. Upon being placed in our patrol vehicle Mr Cole began yelling at Ms [VICTIM ] from the vehicle. Mr Cole yelled, “im not going to be locked up forever you dirty bich”. Mr Cole continued to yell and use profane language until we drove away.The arrest and transport of Mr Cole followed department protocol consisting of the suspect being ed, handcuffs being applied, checked for proper fit and double locked. The suspect was placed in the backseat of my patrol vehicle and was seat belted in for transport. The vehicle was ed prior to and after with no contraband found.Mr Cole was cited for driving without a valid license. The suspect was released to the custody of the Liberty County detention staff without incident.While on scene, [MS] [VICTIM ] advised officers that she has been victim to several unreported domestic violence incidents involving Mr Cole. Ms [VICTIM ] mentioned one incident where she ended up in an intensive care unit with multiple injuries including broken ribs but lied by informing medical personnel she fell causing the injuries.Ms [VICTIM ] was briefed on warrant procedures for the previous incidents, briefed on TPO procedures, and advised to the domestic violence shelter after being provided with a case phamplet including their phone number.[End of Narrative].
