On July 6, 2024
, I, Officer Kiker, responded to a dispute in progress at 412 Adamson Square (LOCOMEX). Dispatch advised that a male subject was causing a disturbance and smashed a beer bottle on the counter, refusing to leave after being asked several times.
Upon arrival, the male subject was standing outside of the restaurant. Officer Rosen and Officer Levens approached him and placed him in handcuffs behind his back. I went inside the restaurant and began to question witnesses regarding the incident.
I first spoke with the bartender, [WITNESS ], stated that the male came inside at approximately 12:30 hours and began to disturb other customers to the point that two left the restaurant entirely. She stated that she asked the male subject to leave several times to which he refused, or left momentarily, only to return. Ms. [WITNESS ] stated that the male subject eventually took a bottle of beer and smashed it against the counter top in response to being asked to leave, then proceeded to loudly sing a song in the middle of the restaurant.
A customer, [WITNESS ], stated that he was sitting at a table next to the bar with [REDACTED] when the male subject began acting out at the bar, leaving and returning to the restaurant. He stated that the male was asked to leave several times and eventually responded by smashing a bottle against the counter and singing loudly in the middle of the restaurant.
I went outside and asked the male subject (under Miranda), identified as Tristan James Rush-Leroy, what happened. He stated that he was drunk. When asked why he smashed the beer bottle, Mr. Rush-Leroy stated that he did it so that we would come. I informed him that he was under arrest and issued citations and a trespass warning.
I transported Mr. Rush-Leroy to Carroll County Detention Center where he was booked in without incident. Mr. Rush-Leroy was cited for the following:
C66-7 (A)(13) Disorderly Conduct (Acts in a Dangerous Manner)
C66-7 (A) (21) Disorderly Conduct (Public Drunk)
Photos of the broken bottle are attached.
