On 25 July 2024
, at approximately 1028 hours, I was on duty with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, in uniform with my badge displayed, and I was in a marked patrol vehicle (848). I was dispatched to [700 BLOCK] Wellborn Road Warner Robins, Ga 31088 in reference to a shots fired complaint.
Upon arrival I made with (offender) Rondavius Bryant, (witness) [WITNESS ], and (involved other) [WITNESS ], in the driveway of [700 BLOCK] Wellborn Road. While speaking to all parties Deputy Montague made with (involved other) [WITNESS ] and gathered her statement. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]
While speaking to [WITNESS ] she stated the following: [WITNESS ] was sitting in her vehicle in the driveway while she spoke to her brother Rondavius. [WITNESS ] was on the phone with her grandmother venting to her about [WITNESS ] not paying rent and that she needed to move out. During the conversation [WITNESS ]’s sister, [WITNESS ] and her girlfriend, Gakasia Jordan, were sitting on the front porch. [WITNESS ] and Rondavius started laughing during the conversation which made [WITNESS ] and Gakasia angry and they started yelling. [WITNESS ] and Gakasia walked off the front porch and started walking towards the driveway where Rondavius and [WITNESS ] were standing. During the argument [WITNESS ] stated she went inside to use the restroom. When inside [WITNESS ] advised she heard what sounded like 1 gun shot. When [WITNESS ] returned outside Gakasia took off running towards Russell Parkway with a gun in her hand. [WITNESS ] described Gakasia as a black female in a black hoodie with colors on the sleeves. Gakasia was wearing a ski mask, a backpack and had dreads in her hair.
I then spoke to [WITNESS ] who stated she was sitting inside her vehicle cleaning when her boyfriend Rondavius became involved in an argument with Gakasia and [WITNESS ]. [WITNESS ] got out of her vehicle and walked over to where Rondavius was standing. [WITNESS ] stated the incident never became physical but believed it was going to be. While trying to calm down Rondavius, Gakasia made threats to kill everyone at the house while holding a handgun. When Gakasia heard the police were called she made the statement that she was going to be in a shootout with the police. Gakasia then took off running towards Maxwell Road prior to my arrival. [WITNESS ] provided the same description of Gakasia as [WITNESS ].
I spoke to Rondavius who stated while he was outside talking to [WITNESS ] about [WITNESS ] not paying rent anymore. During the conversation Rondavius and [WITNESS ] started laughing. [WITNESS ] and Gakasia became angry and started yelling at him. When the argument became heated, Rondavius walked down the road to calm down. Once returning to the residence Rondavius continued to argue with [WITNESS ] and Gakasia. I was approached by Deputy Montague, who through the course of his investigation obtained information that Rondavius had a handgun and fired a shot into the air. Deputy Montague then advised Rondavius that he was being detained and placed him in handcuffs. Sergeant Andrews arrived on scene to assist and took Rondavius to Deputy Montague’s patrol vehicle.
