On 30.Sept.2024 I responded with other officers to the Underwood Lodge in reference to a female outside of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that was yelling. Dispatch advised that the caller stated there was nobody around the female and that she had been outside of their room yelling since 23:00 causing a noise disturbance to the area. Dispatch advised that the caller did not wish to speak to law enforcement upon our arrival. Once on scene I observed a female subject laying on the walkway in front of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I shined my flashlight on the subject, who immediately got up and became verbally confrontational. I asked the subject her name and she stated that she was Taylor Hagan.
I asked Ms. Hagan if she was staying at the Lodge and she stated that she was not. She stated that her address was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and that I needed to take her there. Ms. Hagan was very demanding in telling me that I needed to give her a ride to many different places. Ms. Hagan would speak in circles about where she could stay. At two points in our conversation, Ms. Hagan mentioned that we could give her a ride to her uncle’s house or her dad’s house. I checked with both subjects who stated that they would not allow Ms. Hagan to stay at their homes. Ms. Hagan was verbally abusive and very loud.
She was cursing often and I asked her numerous times to calm down and lower her voice. Ms. Hagan refused to calm her voice down and quit cursing. I attempted for approximately 30 minutes to calm Ms. Hagan down and get her to a safe place for the evening. Ms. Hagan continued to be beligerant and eventually not obey orders to leave the property.
At this point I placed Ms. Hagan into custody. Once in custody I stood Ms. Hagan in front of my patrol car camera and searched her pockets. I advised Ms. Hagan that she was under arrest and I placed her in the back of the patrol vehicle. I searched the back seat before placing Ms. Hagan into the patrol vehicle. I secured Ms. Hagan in her lap and shoulder belt and then transported her to the W.C.S.O. Detention Center. Upon arrival I secured my department issued firearm into a lock box. Officer Walker removed Ms. Hagan from the vehicle and escorted her in while I gathered her belongings to take in to the jail. The back seat was searched after removing Ms. Hagan and no items were located. Ms. Hagan advised that she was a U.S. citizen.
Once in the jail I completed warrantless arrest form 69510 for disorderly conduct. All property of Ms. Hagan was turned over to the booking staff.
