On July 2, 2024
at approximately 0308 hours, I SFC. Hill and Deputy Harrison responded to the above address in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.
Upon my arrival I witnessed a Red Jeep sitting in the driveway, with [VICTIM ] standing at the driver side and Hunter Hawkins standing at the passenger side. I then asked what was going on and Mr. [VICTIM ] and Mr. Hawkins met me at the rear of the vehicle. Mr. Hawkins stated that it was all his fault and he had been drinking and to take him to jail. I could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person and also witnessed blood on his left forearm and on his chest. I then asked him where the blood came from and he stated probably from him.
[VICTIM ] then exited the drivers side of the vehicle and stated that Mr. Hawkins had came after her and hit her in the ear when she arrived to pick up [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Mr. Hawkins girl-friend. Mr. Hawkins stated that wasn’t true that Ms. [VICTIM ] hit him and she stated that she was defending her self from him. I then asked Mr. [VICTIM ] if Mr. Hawkins came after Ms. [VICTIM ] first and he stated he could not lie and that Mr. Hawkins did come after Ms. [VICTIM ] because he did not want [REDACTED BY AGENCY] leaving with her.
Deputy Harrison then arrived and stood by with Mr. Hawkins while I went to the passenger side of the vehicle to speak with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. When [REDACTED BY AGENCY] opened the front passenger door I witnessed her left eye was swollen and had a blue bruise on the check just under the eye.
I then told Deputy Harrison to arrest Mr. Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins was then placed in the rear of Deputy Harrison’s patrol vehicle.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Mr. Hawkins hit her in the house and ripped a green shirt off her. She then went into the residence to look for the shirt but could not find it. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that the argument started at the saddle club when she asked Mr. Hawkins why he was looking at another girl. She stated that she told him they were going to break up. She stated that they then left the saddle club still arguing then got to the residence where the argument continued in the car. She stated they then went into the residence and started to argue again and she stated that she was going to leave. She stated that’s when Mr. Hawkins choked her and punched her in the eye. She stated that’s when Mr. [VICTIM ] came into the room and Mr. Hawkins took his hands off of her.
I then spoke with Ms. [VICTIM ] who stated that she came to the residence to pick up [REDACTED BY AGENCY] because Mr. Hawkins hit her. She stated that when she arrived [REDACTED BY AGENCY] came out to her vehicle and got in the passenger side and she got out of the driver side. She stated that Mr. Hawkins came after her stating she was not going to take [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She stated that Mr. Hawkins then hit her and she defended her self and came after him. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated she was hit in the ear and it was hard for her to hear. I then witnessed Ms. [VICTIM ] ear was red.
I then spoke with Mr. [VICTIM ] who stated he did hear Mr. Hawkins and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] arguing and then went to tell them to stop. He stated that once Ms. [VICTIM ] arrived he went outside and saw Mr. Hawkins go after Ms. [VICTIM ] and he stepped in between them. He stated that Mr. Hawkins pushed him down several times. He stated that no punches were thrown between him and Mr. Hawkins but the did have a scuffle in the yard. Mr. [VICTIM ] had two lacerations to his left arm.
Murray EMS was requested to check Ms. [VICTIM ] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Pictures were also taken and will be added to the attached documents.
