Discretion is advised.]On 02/09/2025I, Deputy Kemp, was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Fairfax Dr in reference to a domestic dispute. I arrived on scene and made with the victim, [VICTIM ]. I could see blood dripping from [VICTIM ]’s face and I could see blood on the walls inside the house. [VICTIM ] stated his girlfriend, Mary Celano, grabbed a knife during their dispute and slashed his face and finger with the knife then took off in her car.I entered the residence and walked into the kitchen. There was blood on the walls and kitchen floor. I then walked into the bedroom where [VICTIM ] was and I observed more blood on the carpet in the bedroom. I then walked to bathroom doorway in the bedroom and saw a large amount of blood coming [VICTIM ]. His face began to bleed profusely. I asked [VICTIM ] what happened and he said he was arguing with Mary because she was spraying some stuff on the bed. During the argument Mary walked into the kitchen and [VICTIM ] followed. He stated once in the kitchen Mary grabbed a knife and swung at him, slashing his face above his top lip and his index finger on his left hand. [VICTIM ] stated after slashing him Mary left the residence and drove off. [VICTIM ] stated Mary is diagnosed with schizophrenia and had stopped taking her medicine. I asked [VICTIM ] where the knife was that Mary used and he stated after she cut him she left the house with the knife.While speaking with [VICTIM ], Mary showed back up at the residence. Mary exited her car and I could see she had blood on her head and her clothes. I asked Mary if she was injured and she stated it was not injured and the blood was [VICTIM ]’s. While attempting to speak with Mary and find out what occurred she appeared to be talking to herself and when asked she stated she was fighting all the people around her. I told Mary nobody was there and she told me and the other Deputy on scene we were Satan. Deputies asked Mary if she cut [VICTIM ] and she admitted to cutting him with the knife. I asked Mary where the knife was at that was used and she stated she did not know. I asked Mary why she cut [VICTIM ] and she began to be incompliant. Mary jumped in her car and attempted to drive away. Deputies pulled Mary out of the car and escorted her to the back of her car. Mary began resisting Deputies then she went limp. To prevent her getting hurt on the concrete Deputies escorted Mary to the grass and placed her in handcuffs. I checked for proper fit and doubled locked them.EMS arrived on scene and treated [VICTIM ] on scene. He stated he did not want EMS to transport him to the hospital and he would drive himself after we left his residence. EMS attempted to look at Mary but she kept pulling away from EMS then went limp again and fell down. Deputies then attempted to get Mary into the back of my patrol car and Mary laid on her stomach on the driveway and was resisting Deputies. After some time Mary then willingly stood up and walked to my patrol car. I placed her in the back seat passenger side of my patrol car.I transported Mary to the Paulding County Detention Center. After Mary was booked into the Jail I took warrants out for Mary for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and Battery Family Violence. I returned to service.[End of Narrative].
