Draughn (224) and Deputy T Hurst (229) were both dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Hephzibah Mcbean Road about a Domestic.Upon our arrival, Deputies spoke with VICTIM who advised that her live-in boyfriend Mendez, Alexander (Primary Aggressor) had physically assaulted her and her juvenile son REDACTED BY AGENCY.[VICTIM ] stated that she was attempting to get [REDACTED BY AGENCY] from Hephzibah Mcbean Elementary when Mendez then took her car keys from her procession and pushed her out of the way.[VICTIM ] stated when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was picked up from his school by Mendez that was when the assault occurred. [VICTIM ] stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] returned with bruising from the back of his head.[VICTIM ] was able to allow Deputies to speak with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] due to him being only 10 years old. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that when he was picked up by Mendez he then began to punch him in the face 5 times with a closed fist and pulled on his hair inside the vehicle.[VICTIM ] stated that when Mendez returned he was then irritated and punched her on the left side of her face and pushed her to the floor. [VICTIM ] stated that Mendez was then standing on top of her telling her that she was a horrible person.Mendez then left the scene with her 2022 Hyundai Elantra (CA TAG: [REDACTED]) with her permission prior to Deputies arrival. [VICTIM ] advised that she has given Mendez permission to drive the vehicle in the past but not today.EMS MED 18 was requested and was able to check on both [VICTIM ] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. EMT’s advised that [REDACTED BY AGENCY]During Deputies Investigation, The shift supervisor was notified and was directed to CID. (B4) SGT Perkins was ed and was directed to apply for the listed charges. [VICTIM ] was given a case number and was informed on how to obtain a copy of the report.A warrant was applied and sent to Records Clerk [REDACTED]. The information of the missing listed vehicle was directed to Records Clerk [REDACTED] to be added into GCIC.[End of Narrative]. Deputy D. Draughn (224) and Deputy T Hurst (229) were both dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Hephzibah Mcbean Road about a Domestic.
