Discretion is advised.]On Saturday, February 1, 2025, at approximately 1630 hours, I responded code 1 to [400 BLOCK] Evergreen Way in reference to a Domestic Dispute.I met with Ms. [VICTIM ] in front of [500 BLOCK] Ponderosa Circle. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that she had gotten into an argument with Mr. Chrisopher Freeman over their son and that during the argument, Mrs. Crystal Freeman entered the room and confronted Ms. [VICTIM ], stating that Ms. [VICTIM ] was the issue and that she needed to go. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that this has been an ongoing issue for the past 8 years of her being verbally abused and that she does not feel safe in the household. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that once Mrs. Freeman started to yell at her, she also grabbed her around her collar, and she began to blackout. Ms. [VICTIM ] had red marks around her neck. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that she attempted to get Mrs. Freeman off of her by hitting her three times on her head with her cell phone. Ms. [VICTIM ] also had lacerations and additional red marks on each of her arms. EMS was called to the scene for Ms. [VICTIM ]. Ms. [VICTIM ] was checked and cleared by EMS Staff outside of the residence.I then spoke with Mrs. Crystal Freeman and [REDACTED] in front of the residence. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman both stated that Ms. [VICTIM ] was not caring for their grandchild and that they believed that she was the issue. Ms. Freeman stated that Ms. [VICTIM ] is routinely drunk and does not do anything to care for her child.I then spoke with Mr. Christopher Freeman in the living room, and he provided the same series of events as Mr. and Mrs. Freeman did. Mr. Freeman stated that during the argument, Mrs. Freeman fell with Ms. [VICTIM ] on top of her, and he attempted to separate the two of them by placing Ms. [VICTIM ] in a bear hug and falling back onto the couch. Mr. Freeman stated that once he separated the two of them, he then took Ms. [VICTIM ]โ€™s phone to prevent her from calling for assistance, as he did not want anyone to get arrested. Mr. Freeman also stated that he would slap Ms. [VICTIM ] should she try and take the phone from him.Mrs. Freeman was then taken into custody for the charges of Battery (16-5-23.1) and Aggravated Assault (16-5-21); Mr. Christopher Freeman was taken into custody for the charges of obstructing or hindering persons making emergency telephone calls (16-10-24.3) and Criminal Trespass (16-7-21). Both were handcuffed behind their backs, which were double locked and checked for fit, ed incident to arrest nothing was found in the , and placed in the rear passenger seat of separate patrol cars to be transported to the Barrow County Detention Center.Ms. [VICTIM ] was spoken to about services available to her and provided with a domestic violence information pamphlet with the case number on it.Mrs. Freeman and Mr. Christopher Freemen were then transported to the Detention Center and released to the Deputies on duty without incident.[End of Narrative].
