Discretion is advised.]On 10 February 2025I responded to a domestic call at [1300 BLOCK] Red Hill Road that had occured between [WITNESS ] and Edwardo Luna. [WITNESS ] stated that Edwardo had left the residence walking toward GA Hwy 169 with a knife in his hand. He informed dispatch that Edwardo was Autistic and SchizophrenicEdwardo Luna was walking on the roadway towards [1300 BLOCK] Red Hill Road with a knife in his right hand.When ordered to drop the knife he began cutting his left arm and then ran the opposite direction.Deputy Joy arrived and drew his department issued electronic control device (ECW) and ordered Edwardo to drop the knife and to get on his knees. Edwardo complied with orders and was placed under arrest.He was cleared by EMS and transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital. Once cleared my medical staff he was transported to Wayne County Jail and released to jail staff and a hold for warrants placed.Pictures were taken of damage in the .
