Upon arrival I met with the complainant, [VICTIM ] and [WITNESS ]. [VICTIM ] started having a panic attack talking about the incident that occurred. [VICTIM ] sat in the back of a patrol vehicle because she had advised she did not feel good from being hit in the head.
I spoke with [WITNESS ]; he stated that [VICTIM ] and his brother, Branson Morgan had been drinking and went to a haunted house earlier in the day and was staying over at his house after. I and Deputy Ivey made entry into the residence and made with Branson and at this time placed him under arrest. Branson was read Miranda Rights and denied answering any questions. Branson was transported to the Carroll County jail by Deputy Ivey.
I tried speaking with [VICTIM ] on scene while she was in the back of the ambulance. [VICTIM ] began to have a panic attack. At that time I advised that EMS go ahead and transport her to Tanner Hospital in Carrollton. I advised them that I will meet them there and conduct further investigation once she can calm down.
I arrive at Tanner Carrollton and met with [VICTIM ] in her room and asked her if everything [WITNESS ] had told me that happened was true.
