Discretion is advised.]On 01/26/25 at 1257hrs I, Deputy Benton, was dispatched to 5452 Highway 18 in reference to a possible stabbing. Upon arrival I made with Abraham Stephens who was lying on the ground behind the building at the address with visible blood all over his person. Mr. Stephens was conscious and speaking. Mr. Stephens stated he and another person, Gerald Tharpe, had been in an altercation and Mr. Tharpe had repeatedly stabbed him. After ensuring the scene was secure I allowed emergency personnel to enter. Mr. Stephens was transported by ambulance to Atrium for stab wounds throughout his body.I then went to the residence of Mr. Tharpe, [30 BLOCK] Dale St., where I found him lying outside the residence. Mr. Tharpe also had visible blood on his face, hands, neck and upper body area. Mr. Tharpe stated that during the altercation with Mr. Stephens that he had been struck in the head several times. Emergency personnel also transported Mr. Tharpe to Atrium for possible head trauma.[End of Narrative].
