, at 17:02 hours, myself and other officers responded to 780 Bankhead Highway (Efficiency Lodge) in reference to a domestic dispute between employees and an erratic female getting aggressive. Officers immediately recognized this as Ashley Farris, who had multiple law enforcement s over the past several days and was noted for having outburst of anger.
Upon arrival Ashley was located inside of the office and appeared upset. I spoke with the employee, [WITNESS ]. [WITNESS ] explained Ashley was not acting normal, and according to her previous employment in health care, advised she was a “1013” subject. [WITNESS ] meant that Ashley was suffering from some sort of mental issue. I knew speaking to Ashley’s father [WITNESS ] earlier on this date that Ashley suffered from bipolar schizophrenia, drug use with crack cocaine, and marijuana use.
[WITNESS ] explained Ashley was not making sense, and with her temperament believed her to be a risk to the public. I spoke with CCCRT Lt. Falls on the phone while on scene and updated him of the situation. Due to her continued erratic behavior, he agreed she needed to be seen for treatment. While I was speaking with Lt. Falls on the phone, Ashley could be heard mumbling to herself and kicking her foot on the ground.
I went to speak with Ashley and asked her if she would be willing to get treatment. Ashley would not answer me and turned away from me and officers. Ashley then proceeded to lift up her dress and show her buttocks and lower genital region. This was committed in the immediate presence of: Sgt. Hicks, Ofc. Rosen, Ofc. Levens, [REDACTED], [WITNESS ], and [REDACTED].
She was then immediately placed under arrest for indecent exposure before she could continue this lewd behavior.
Given her erratic nature from previous calls and current display of behavior, I perceived Ashley as a risk to the public and herself. I explained to CCCRT my findings, and had Ashley transported to Tanner Medical Center for treatment. Tanner Medical signed a 1013 on Ashley at 18:30 hours by Dr. [REDACTED].
A changeover was conducted between myself and Tanner Security prior to leaving. A criminal trespass was signed on behalf of management. A CCCRT was filled out and submitted online.
I spoke with [WITNESS ] prior to leaving, and updated him of the situation ([REDACTED]).
