Discretion is advised.]I was dispatched to [700 BLOCK] Fortville Milledgeville road in reference to a medical call where the complainant, [VICTIM ], advised that her son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was hit in the chest by the child’s father, Douglas Richardson. When I arrived on scene, I spoke with [VICTIM ] in the driveway. She advised that she received a call from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] where he asked her to come to Douglas’ house and pick him up due to them arguing. She advised that when she arrived, Douglas asked if she was there to pick up [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She advised that she was and when she asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to go get his belongings, Douglas told her that she was not allowed to go onto the porch. [VICTIM ] then stated that as she was walking towards the residence, Douglas lowered his stance and gave the illusion as if he would charge her. As they got closer together, Douglas then got into her face and they began arguing. During the argument, Douglas then positioned himself “eye to eye” with [VICTIM ] before striking her in the forehead with his.She advised that after she left the residence with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and as they were on Fortville road, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began complaining of chest pain. She advised that when they arrived at [700 BLOCK] Fortville Milledgeville road, she was able to check on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] where she was able to see that his jacket was torn and that he was having trouble breathing due to the pain in his chest. [VICTIM ] advised that she has a no violence order against Douglas due to prior incidents which led to his incarceration for 3 years.When EMS arrived, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was taken to the ambulance where he was evaluated by the paramedics. When I entered the ambulance I noticed that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] hoodie pocket was ripped and I began speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] he advised me of the events that transpired.He advised that he was left at while his grandmother went to North Carolina to pickup a relative. As he was playing video games in his room, Douglas entered the bedroom and began asking why he blocked him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then advised that he stated “you know what you did” and he was told to call his mom to get him.[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that he went outside and called his mom, when Douglas came outside and began calling his name. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not respond to Douglas calling him and it made Douglas upset. He then approached [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and grabbed him by his jacket and took him inside. Once inside, Douglas threw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] onto the sofa where they began arguing, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was then sitting on the sofa during the argument when Douglas punched him in the chest. I then asked if he knew about [VICTIM ] being hit to which he advised that he saw Douglas get dow as if to charge her and they began arguing about her not being able to go onto the porch. Douglas then got into [VICTIM ]’s face and after a while he saw Douglas strike [VICTIM ] with his forehead. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was then transported to the Children’s Hospital in Macon to be treated for his injuries.I then went to [200 BLOCK] Hungerford road where the incident took place to speak with Douglas regarding the incident. Upon arrival, Douglas was not on scene. While in the driveway, a vehicle pulled in and I spoke with a male subject who was on the phone with Douglas. I then spoke with Douglas over the phone where he advised that he went to the trash dump but was on his way back to the residence.As I was waiting on Douglas once again, a female walked up the driveway and identified herself as his mother. She stated that [VICTIM ] was not happy due to the way she pulled out of the driveway and that Douglas was not mad at all and was on the porch. She went on to state that if he was mad, he would’ve pulled the door off of the hinges of the residence. Upon her making the statement of pulling the door off of the hinges, it was clear that he has an issue with expressing his emotions and it turns to damaging property.When Douglas arrived, I asked him for his side of the story. He advised that he got into an argument with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] due to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] blocking his phone number. He advised that he then asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to call his mother to get him. I then asked how [REDACTED BY AGENCY] jacket was ripped and he advised that he has had it for a while and that he bought it for him in November. Due to the jacket being recently purchased, the damage, and the statements by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [VICTIM ], I then placed Douglas under arrest and transported him to the Jones County Jail where he was released to the jail staff.[End of Narrative].
