Discretion is advised.]On Saturday January 25th 2025at 1106 hours I (Corporal A. Walker 329) responded to [100 BLOCK] W Ridge Circle Macon Georgia 31210 in reference to a domestic. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant identified as [VICTIM ]. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that on yesterday January 24th 2025her son who was identified as Matthew Brown was drunk and high on pills and acting aggressive towards her, and when he went to pick up the dog Ms. [VICTIM ] thought that he was going to hurt the dog like he did before so she stepped in front of him and he backed her up to the linen closet and proceeded to choke her leaving bruises on her neck. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that this is not the first time he has assaulted her. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that her son has been hitting on her for over a year and she is tired of the abuse.After Brown stopped choking her he left the house on foot heading in an unknown direction. I had negative with Brown yesterday but I advised Ms. [VICTIM ] to call back when he returns so that I could make with him. This morning Ms. [VICTIM ] called back in reference to her son being there. Myself and Deputy J. Williams responded. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated that her son was in the living room sleeping on the couch. When we entered the house Brown was in the bathroom and we stood by waiting on him to finish. When Brown finished he was detained, the handcuffs were checked for fit double locked and a thorough of Brown was conducted before placing him in the backseat of Deputy J. Williams marked patrol car.Due to the bruises on Ms. [VICTIM ]’s neck as well as the other superficial injuries on Ms. [VICTIM ]’s body as a result of the physical abuse from her son, Brown was arrested for Aggravated Assault Family Violence. Brown was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bibb County LEC where he was turned over to the jail staff for booking.Warrants to be taken.[End of Narrative].
