On September 9, 2024 at approximately 6:24pm, Detective Holmes was contacted by Sgt. O’Mahoney and advised that the GBI was calling about a threat to shoot a school.
Detective Holmes advised he would contact the analysist. Detective Holmes contacted [REDACTED] with the Georgia Info Sharing Analysis Crt (GISAC). [REDACTED] advised that they had received a tip from the FBI that Michael Quintero had made the following Snapchat post “Bruh if spectrum wifi goes down one more time ima go shoot up a school tomorrow morning”. [REDACTED] did provide the report to Detective Holmes and it will be attached to this case file. Investigation to continue.

[NARRATIVE #2 on September 09, 2024]
On September 9, 2024 at approximately 8:26pm, Detective Holmes and Deputy Scott traveled to Quintero’s residence, [1100 BLOCK] Danielle Drive. Detective Holmes knocked on the door with no response.
Detective Holmes placed Michael Quintero a phone call from the number listed on the GISAC report, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Detective Holmes spoke to Michael Quintero and he agreed to meet with Detective Holmes at his residence.
Michael Quintero and his girlfriend [REDACTED] arrived at the residence and spoke to Detective Holmes. Detective Holmes asked Michael if he had his phone and he advised yes and then [REDACTED] handed Detective Holmes, Michael’s phone. Detective Holmes advised Michael he was investigating a school shooting threat. Michael advised that he was just joking and it was said in a group chat. Michael advised he did not mean it. Detective Holmes asked for Michael to show him the chat and Michael opened his phone and opened Snapchat. Detective Holmes and Michael scrolled to the message. Detective Holmes found that Michael had deleted the message but the rest of the thread was there. Michael showed Detective Holmes where his friend sent a screen shot of reporting the threat to shoot the school.
Detective Holmes did place Michael under arrest for terroristic threats and acts. Detective Holmes did read Michael his Miranda rights from Detective Holmes Miranda rights card. Michael advised that he did understand and would speak with Detective Holmes. Detective Holmes asked for and received consent to search Michael’s vehicle and bedroom. Detective Holmes did not locate any further evidence of this crime. Detective Holmes did seize Michael’s phone.
Detective Holmes charged Michael Quintero on warrantless arrest number 68759 with Terroristic Threats 16-11-37.
Detective Holmes did enter Michael’s phone into evidence at the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office. The pass code for the phone is [REDACTED].
This investigation cleared by arrest of Michael Quintero.
