Discretion is advised.]On January 12, 2025, at approximately 01:46 hours, I, Deputy Chittam (166), was dispatched to [3400 BLOCK] West Stewart Mill Road APT [REDACTED], Douglasville, Georgia 30135, in reference to a domestic dispute that had occurred at [3400 BLOCK] Anna Ruby Lane, Douglasville, Georgia 30135.Upon arrival, I made with [VICTIM ]. [VICTIM ] stated that at approximately 00:00 hours, she and her brother, Jalyn Knight had gotten into an argument due to Jalyn wanting to take her Play Station 4 (PS4) with him. [VICTIM ] stated that she told Jalyn that he could not take her PS4 with him. [VICTIM ] stated that this made Jalyn angry at her, causing him to grab onto her and “throw” her into the glass mirror that was in the bedroom. [VICTIM ] stated that she attempted to leave the bedroom, but Jalyn would not let her leave. [VICTIM ] stated that every time she attempted to leave the bedroom, Jalyn would grab onto her the put her on the ground and the bed.[VICTIM ] stated that she had began to video/audio record what Jalyn was saying. In one of the recordings, I could hear Jalyn telling someone on the phone that [VICTIM ] was “not complying and trying to leave so I sat her ass down.” [VICTIM ] stated that at one point she had locked herself in the bathroom. While [VICTIM ] was inside of the bathroom, Jalyn attempted to open the locked door with another object. [VICTIM ] staled that she heard Jalyn leave the room. When [VICTIM ] heard this, she opened a bedroom window, climed out of the window, entered her vehicle, and drove to a friends apartment at the location I was dispatched to.[VICTIM ] was willing to fill out a victim statement form. While I was speaking with [VICTIM ], she stated that Jalyn [REDACTED BY AGENCY] of the glass during the altercations.Multiple deputies arrived at [3400 BLOCK] Anna Ruby Lane, Douglasville, Georgia 30135 and attempted to make with Jalyn [REDACTED]. We were able to make with Jalyn. Due to the statements made by [VICTIM ], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that were consistent with her story, Jalyn was placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault FVA, False Imprisonment FVA, Battery FVA, and Criminal Trespass Damage FVA. While ing Jalyn, a white Ibuprofen container was located inside his front left pants pocket. Inside this container were two Methylenedioxy methamphetamine (Ecstasy/MDMA) pills. Jalyn was also placed under arrest for Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance.[VICTIM ] allowed deputies inside the residence and showed me where the altercation had taken place. I observed glass on the ground just past the entrance to the bedroom where the altercation had taken place. I also observed a glass mirror propped against the wall with the initial area of impact approximately at [VICTIM ]’s height. I walked to the bathroom and observed a piece of glass inside of the sink. This piece of glass was not visible on the recording that [VICTIM ] took while inside of the bathroom. I also observed multiple scratch marks on the door lock consistent with someone attempted to force open the lock. [VICTIM ] showed me the window that she had exited the room through. The window was closed before I entered the room. [VICTIM ] stated that she had locked the bedroom door after Jalyn had exited the room before the exited through the window.[VICTIM ] stated that she Jalyn must have walked around the residence and reentered the bedroom through the window due to the bedroom being unlocked when I arrived. I observed blood inside the residence in front of the front door with blood drops going going down the main hallway of the residence, along with blood on the front porch of the residence. [VICTIM ] stated that this was not her blood. This blood is consistent with [VICTIM ]’s statement that Jalyn had to exit the residence and reenter through the window that she had left open. While inside of the master bedroom, I observed green Marijuana in plain view on top of a table. This Marijuana was collected.While Jalyn was inside of my patrol vehicle, I read him the Miranda Warning. Jalyn stated that he understood his rights and that he wished to speak with me. While speaking with Jalyn, he state that he had entered the bedroom and began to clean up the room. Jalyn stated that he did not attack [VICTIM ]. I asked Jalyn about allowing [VICTIM ] to leave. Jalyn stated that he did not want [VICTIM ] to leave and was trying to be the “big brother” and help her by standing in the door way. I asked Jalyn how [VICTIM ] got his blood on her clothing. Jalyn stated that [VICTIM ] was pushing past him attempting to leave. I asked Jalyn which room he was staying in. Jalyn stated that he was staying in the master bedroom, the same bedroom that the altercation had taken place. Due to this statement by Jalyn, I also charged him with Possession of Marijuana less that one ounce. While speaking with Jalyn, I observed his pupils to be dilated to the extent of not being able to see the color of his eyes. I also observed Jalyn to be extremely talkative, restless, and irritable. These observations, along with the two (2) Methylenedioxymethamphetamine pills that were located in his pocket causes me believe that Jalyn was under the influence of some type of narcotic during the time of the incident.Warrants against Jalyn for Aggravated Assault Strangulation FVA, False Imprisonment FVA, Battery FVA, Criminal Trespass Damage FVA, and Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance were applied for through the EZ-Warrant System. The Marijuana and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine pills were logged into evidence. The videos recorded by [VICTIM ] were burned onto a DIED and logged into evidence.[End of Narrative].
