[NARRATIVE #1 on August 01, 2024]
On 8/1/24, I responded to Racetrac located at 1135 HWY 92 for a rape report.
On arrival, I met with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated the following: She was walking on the HWY 92 bridge over I75 from McDonalds. A male approached her from behind and began to slap her buttocks. The male pushed her down to the ground and got on top of her. The male removed her purple underpants and lifted her dress. He attempted to insert his pnis into her vagna, but she was able to tense up and did not allow him to insert it. The male ejaculated on her buttocks and left. She walked to the Racetrac and called 911. She told Cherokee County Dispatch that the male was at the Racetrac when she called 911. The suspect was a black male with twists in his hair. He was approximately 5’9″ tall and 145 to 150 lbs. The male was wearing black pants and a grey t-shirt.
Cherokee County FD Station 19 responded to the scene to check [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and she declined further medical attention. Deputies as well as Acworth PD canvassed the area, but we did not locate the male. I canvassed the bridge in an attempt to locate her underwear, and SGT Carter eventually located the underwear near the on-ramp to I75 NB. Employees at the Racetrac provided a photograph of the suspect male from the surveillance footage. I uploaded the photograph to the case file.
I contacted CID Detective Jergans and informed her of the incident. CID detectives responded to the scene.

[NARRATIVE #2 on August 01, 2024]
On 8/1/2024 at approximately 7:51 PM I visited several businesses on Highway 92 and Lake Acworth Drive in efforts to gather information on the related subject.
I visited the Best Western, Waffle House, and Econo Lodge and showed employees the Cherokee County BOLO. No employees recognized the man. I issued all a case card and urged they call 911 if they have contact with him.
In the McDonalds I spoke to one of the register employees who stated he did not look familiar. I spoke to one of the managers who stated he may recognize him, but was unsure. I issued the manager a case card and urged he call 911 if anyone makes contact with him.
In the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I spoke to a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who informed me the man in the BOLO looks familiar. He comes in close to open every day and buys a 4-piece plate and pays with card. She recalled his name is Michael. I asked if she could pull transaction records, but she was unable to at that time. I issued her a case card and requested she call 911 the next time he comes into the restaurant.
As I exited the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] a customer approached me and stated he overheard my conversation with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I showed him the BOLO and he stated he frequently sees him walking on the 92 bridge over I-75 towards Racetrac. I issued him a case card and requested he call 911 if he sees the male again. I then returned to service.
