On Tuesday, 10/08/24, at approximately 02:08 hours, I, Deputy Hubbard, was dispatched for a second time to Motel 6, located at 150 Plantation Inn Dr., about a fight/ Disorderly Customer. The original incident occurred at night when the subject, Dirk Demille, got into a verbal/ physical altercation with another guest in Room [REDACTED].
Once I arrived on the scene, I ed the front desk attendant, who advised that the property owner wanted both guests to trespass from the premises. I attempted to the guests at [REDACTED] but was unsuccessful because they had left before my arrival. I could Mr. Demille, who was staying in room [REDACTED].
While speaking with Mr. Demille to find out what transpired tonight, I informed him that the property owner wanted him to trespass from the premises after he finished speaking. Mr. Demille began to become loud and disorderly, begging and pleading his case about why he shouldn’t have to leave, which I told him I understood, but the owner wanted me removed from the property. Mr. Demille asked about the money he paid beforehand for a week’s stay. I advised him that it was a civil matter and that he would have to handle that later through the court.
Mr. Demille then went downstairs to speak with the owner about his money, in which the owner refunded $130 to Mr. DeMille. Once Mr. Demille received his money, he was advised to return upstairs and begin packing to be gone by in the morning. While Mr. Demille continued to argue about the situation, I spoke with the property manager, who advised he didn’t want to take the chance of Mr.Demille causing more problems tonight, so we came to the agreement to give Mr. Demille until 01:20 hours to have his items packed and be if the property.
Instead of taking the opportunity to comply with the agreement, Mr. Demille continued to be disorderly and disruptive to management and other guests, resulting in multiple calls to the office. During this time, the elapsed time had concluded, and Mr. Demille was given more time than initially told. Mr. Demille failed to comply with the orders and continued to be disorderly, resulting in him being taken to the Bibb County LEC.
