On Tuesday, August 27, 2024
, at approximately 2041 hours, I responded to [4700 BLOCK] Pinery Dr SE Acworth, Bartow County, Georgia in reference to a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, I met with [VICTIM ]. [VICTIM ] advised he and his girlfriend Khrista Cash arrived at their residence around the same time. [VICTIM ] advised Khrista was irate with him because she believes he took some of her belonging. [VICTIM ] advised Khrista began throwing his groceries, throwing his tools, threw a milkshake at him, hitting his truck with a copper pipe, and swung at and struck him with the copper pipe. [VICTIM ] advised while she was attacking him with the copper pipe, he called 911.
[VICTIM ] advised there was no damage to his tools, or his truck. [VICTIM ] advised the copper pipe did hit him in the hand as he was blocking it, but he did not have any markings. [VICTIM ] showed me the copper pipe in the bed of his truck. I observed the copper pipe was around six feet long. [VICTIM ] advised there was no damage to his tools, or his vehicle. While speaking with [VICTIM ], I did observe that his shirt was wet, and he had small black pieces on his face, and hair for the milkshake. I also observed a Chick-Fil-A cup on the ground with a substance inside that looked like the substance on [VICTIM ]’s face.
I spoke with Khrista, who advised [VICTIM ] had stole some windows, and wire strippers from her. Khrista denied hitting him with the copper pipe, but advised she did throw the milkshake at him.
I spoke with [WITNESS ], who also lives at the residence. There was a language barrier between myself and [WITNESS ]. I was able to use google translate to communicate with her. [WITNESS ] advised she witnessed Khrista arrive at the residence, and grab what she described to be a iron stick. [WITNESS ] advised Khrista began yelling, and hit [VICTIM ] with the iron stick. [WITNESS ] confirmed Khrista did hit [VICTIM ] with the object.
Khrista was placed under arrest for simple battery fva, for throwing the milkshake at [VICTIM ], and striking him with it. Khrista will also be charged with aggravated assault fva for swinging, and striking [VICTIM ] with the copper pipe. Per O.C.G.A 19-13-1, these charges will be charged under the family violence act (fva), because [VICTIM ] and Khrista live in the same household.
Khrista was transported to the Bartow County Jail where custody was exchanged with Bartow County Jail staff.
