Discretion is advised.]Vehicle 1 was traveling northbound from the parking lot of 755 West Oglethorpe Highway (Hinesville Central) when it traveled onto Veterans Parkway and struck Vehicle 2 which was traveling westbound in the number 1 lane. Vehicle 1 left the scene at a high rate of speed and turned right onto South Main Street.I identified Vehicle 1 traveling northbound on North Main Street and East M L King Jr Drive, I activated my lights and sirens and provided the South Carolina tag [REDACTED] to central dispatch. Vehicle 1 started to flee and passed a vehicle on the left in the left turn lane. Vehicle 1 started to accelerate approximately 40-53 mph. I informed central dispatch Vehicle 1 was fleeing and refusing to stop. I pursued Vehicle 1 which made a right onto East Memorial Drive until he turned left onto Bradwell Street and reached speeds of 60mph. Vehicle 1 entered the opposite lane and failed to stop at the stop sign located at Bradwell Street and East General Stewart Way. Vehicle 1 made a wide right turn onto East General Stewart Way and entered the number 2 westbound lane before merging back into the number 1 eastbound lane and accelerating to 67 mph. Vehicle 1 made a left turn from East General Stewart Way onto Harrison Drive. Vehicle 1 over corrected and traveled in the opposite lane, leaving the roadway, hitting the curb and striking three metal bollard posts at the Business Driveway of 601 East General Stewart Way (Southeast Lung Associates).Vehicle 1 then turned left on a residential road onto Sherwood Drive. Driving on the wrong side of the road again. I was notified by Sgt Probst to terminate the pursuit which I complied by turning off my lights and sirens and driving away from Vehicle 1.Shortly after, central dispatch advised they received a phone call from multiple people that Vehicle 1 had almost struck them at a high rate of speed in the parking lot of 708 East Oglethorpe Highway (OD Crab House). Vehicle 1 stopped and three people jumped out of Vehicle 1, they ran toward 706 East Oglethorpe Highway (Suburban Studios). Vehicle 1 was found in the parking lot of OD Crab House.A of the vehicle revealed a scale and drug paraphernalia located in the center console of Vehicle 1. Those items were secured and placed into evidence at the Hinesville Police Department. Vehicle 1 was towed by Hinesville Towing and a hold was placed on Vehicle 1 until the investigation was completed.Driver 2, who was located at 755 West Oglethorpe Highway (Hinesville Central), stated he was in the number 1 lane on Veterans Parkway when Vehicle 1 which was travelling from Hinesville Central, impacted his vehicle. He stated his vehicle spun 360 degrees and by the time his vehicle came to a stop, Vehicle 1 was leaving at a high rate of speed.[WITNESS ], a witness, stated she saw Vehicle 1 leave Hinesville Central onto Veterans Parkway which then struck Vehicle 2. She stated Vehicle 1 traveled at a high rate of speed westbound and turned right onto South Main Street where she lost visual of Vehicle 1.Further investigation revealed Walmart security footage of Vehicle 1 and Driver 1. Security footage of OD Crab House also shows Vehicle 1 entering the parking lot at a high rate of speed.Driver 1 and Passenger 1 were identified from a previous call earlier in the day (CRN 241252039). Through the photo evidence and eyewitness testimonies, Driver 1 and Passenger 1 were identified.Sgt Wong, Spo Conley and Ptl Sayer-Lee, made with Driver 1 and Passenger 1 at [100 BLOCK] Devereaux Road Lot [REDACTED]. Driver 1 and Passenger 1 were detained pending further investigation.Driver 1 stated his vehicle was stolen but later stated he had been the one driving Vehicle 1 and had hit Vehicle 2 on Veterans Parkway. He also stated he had run from the police and ditched his vehicle in the parking lot of OD Crab House where he and his passenger ran from the area getting a ride back to their residence at [100 BLOCK] Devereaux Road Lot [REDACTED].Investigation revealed Driver 1 failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign x2, hit and run with injury, driving while license suspended, reckless driving, fleeing and attempting to elude, driving on the wrong side of the road, leaving the scene of an accident (fixed object) and false report of a crime as per Georgia codes 40-6-72(B), 40-6-270, 40-5-121, 40-6-390, 40-6-395.B5A, 40-6-40A1, 40-6-270 and 16-10-26.On 12-30-2024, at approximately 1130 hrs I took Ricardo Ramos in front of Judge Silverman who gave Mr Ramos a $5500.00 bond for the above charges.
