On September 30, 2024
I, Dep. Lewis responded to [3200 BLOCK] Sharon Sharon Drive in reference to shots being fired.
Upon arrival I met with Mr. [VICTIM ]. [VICTIM ] stated that he went over to his neighbors house to speak with him about not being his power of attorney anymore. [VICTIM ] stated that an argument then started where Dunn hit him in the head with a cane. [VICTIM ] stated that he pushed Dunn away and that he fell off the porch. Both parties were then fighting where Dunn pulled out a .25 CAL Derringer and fired both shots at [VICTIM ] face missing him. [VICTIM ] was able to get the gun from Dunn and went calling law enforcement.
I then met with Mr. Dunn. He stated that his neighbor came over and whooped up on him. Dunn stated that he may have hit [VICTIM ] with a cane. Dunn stated that he was knocked off the porch and then got hit with a stick. Dunn stated that he thought [VICTIM ] was going to kill him so he shot at him.
I then spoke with a witness over the phone named [WITNESS ]. [WITNESS ] stated that he saw Dunn hit [VICTIM ] with a cane first. He stated that an altercation then did take place where Dunn was pushed off the porch. [WITNESS ] stated Dunn the pulled out a firearm and shot at [VICTIM ].
Dunn had several visible injuries.
I then took Dunn to Navicent health for treatment prior to going to the Jail.
