Discretion is advised.]On September 28, 2024at approximately 1430 hours I, Deputy F. Gray assisted Lt. Penson along with other SRT unit deputies Cpl. Jackson, Dep. J. Holmes, Dep. Callaway with a disorderly white male subject at third St/Cherry St near a private “pride” event.When I arrived on scene. The male was identified as Mr. Christopher Clayton Smith. He was protesting with other male subjects but he was using a loud electronic speaker to utilize his voice and was instructed several times to by deputies that he can protest and express his opinions and disbeliefs but he can not use the speaker. Mr. Smith ignored officers instructions and continued to use the loud speaker and said screw you all im still using the speaker. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bibb County LEC.Later, Upon arrival at the jail, Mr. Smith had fainted in the jail sally port from a history of seizures. He was deferred at 1505 hours and transported to Atrium Health Medical Center for further observation and later taken back to the Bibb County LEC.[End of Narrative]. On September 28, 2024
