I responded to the location of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a sexual assault report. Metro was on scene with the victim and her adult daughter. The victims daughter advised that her mother has been talking to the suspect Anuj for about a week. The victim met the suspect on a dating site (Ok Cupid).
The daughter advised that the suspect appeared to be extremely nice and said everything the mother wanted to hear. The daughter told the victim that she had a bad feeling about the suspect Anuj. The victim gave the suspect Anuj her address a few days ago (unknown to the daughter until the day of the incident).
The suspect had a conversation with the victim prior to his arrival and he advised the victim he was going to the gym before coming over so his veins would be pumping. When the suspect arrived at the victim’s residence he told her to place a blind fold on and face away from him upon entering the residence but she refused to do so.
The victim is hard of hearing requiring conversations to be louder than normal when speaking. The suspect entered the residence around noon and at some point, pushed the victim down while the were in the bed room.
The victim’s daughter advised that the victim was beat about her body, bit on her fingers and tongue. The victim’s daughter advised that the suspect shoved his fist inside of the victim’s vag*na causing bleeding. The victim was struck in the face multiple times while advising to the suspect that the treatment was not wanted.
The suspect continued these actions until around 17:30 when the suspect left the residence he made the victim lay on the bed face down for about twenty minutes until he was able to leave the residence. The victim was found by her daughter granddaughter. Corporal MCcann responded to the location and after assessing the situation called CID detective Wiek and an I.D. tech to process the scene.
The victim was transported to Paulding Wellstar for treatment and further test to be conducted for evidence and treatment.
A drinking cup that the suspect touched was recovered from the scene. The victim did not have cameras at the residence. The victim did not see the suspects vehicle and could not give and description or color. A canvas of the neighborhood was conducted and two cameras were located. The first camera located at [80 BLOCK] Womack has power but does not work ([REDACTED] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] owner).
The other camera located [100 BLOCK] Womack and the footage was not able to be viewed at the location but might have been backed up to a server. The owner ([REDACTED] [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) advised she would deputies if she is able to get the footage.
