Discretion is advised.]I, Sgt Olivares, was dispatched to [2900 BLOCK] Rollingwood Dr, reference to a welfare check. I arrived on scene and made with Ms. [WITNESS ]. Ms. [WITNESS ] stated that she was doing a random check in at the listed residence and noticed that Ms. VICTIM was in need of medical attention.I arrived on scene and made with Peak (Arrested), who is the daughter and the care giver of [VICTIM ]. Peak stated that [VICTIM ] has lost a but of weight but she was fine. Peak stated that [VICTIM ] was under the care of Hospice Services of GA [REDACTED]. The last message that Peak was able to provide was from June 11th 2024. I asked Peak when was the last time a medical professional has checked on [VICTIM ]. Peak stated that it was June the last time medical professional has checked on [VICTIM ]. Peak gave permission for me to check on [VICTIM ]. When I was walking towards [VICTIM ]’s bedroom, I was able too smell a strong odor of bodily fluids. When I walked into [VICTIM ]’s bedroom I was able to see that [VICTIM ] was in need of medical care.Central EMS responded to the scene and talked to Peak. Peak stated to EMS that she feeds [VICTIM ] every morning and makes sure that she drinks 2 to 3 Ensures a day. I walked into the kitchen area and found the kitchen to be infested with roaches. The sink was over flowing with dirty dishes all over the sink.EMS and Fire department were able to cut part of the mattress and remove [VICTIM ] from the room. Peak was transported to CID.
