On Wednesday, January 2nd, 2024
at approximately 1634 hours I, Pfc Weeks responded to the area of Watson Street and Woodvine Avenue in reference to a female yelling, screaming and talking to herself. A passerby had observed the female and believed she was on drugs, due to the way she was acting. The caller proceeded to advise E911 of her location while I was en-route.
Once in the area, I observed a white female, later identified as Jessica Randle, sitting on the side walk near the 300 block of Woodbine Avenue. She was rocking front to back and was in fact screaming, as the caller mentioned. I approached Ms. Randle and made with her. As I interacted with her, she continued to scream causing a disturbance to the public. Also, she was using profanities during my whole interaction with her, which were loud enough that people at their s could hear. Ms. Randle did mention that she would “run” if I attempted to arrest her. Due to the fact she was disturbing the peace, I did arrest her for disorderly conduct without incident. After ing her person, I did not discover anything illegal in her possession.
Ms. Randle was transported to the Floyd County Jail.
