He took us to the backyard where we found a brown brindle in color pit bull type dog. Female. She was tethered at the side of the shed and laying on a wore out mattress. There were two small metal bowls but both were empty. No water available for the dog. The area is littered with trash. There seems to be a makeshift shelter nearby but it is falling apart and has trash inside of it. The dog is slightly underweight, 3 PBS, severe ear infection in both ears. Right ear canal is completely closed. Multiple patches of hair missing on the dog. There is an open wound on the top of the head that appears to be the beginning of an abscess. Area is bloody and slightly swollen. Curry allowed us to remove the dog but does not want to surrender the dog. I got his information and advised once the vet has examined the dog I will him with what his options are.02/22/23 13:59 Per vet tech, dog’s ears are dirty, no infection seen, no ringworm, flea allergy hair loss but hair is now growing back in.
