On 04/11/2024
at approximately 1357 hours, I responded to 201 Stephenson Ave (Motel 6 ) in regards to a person with a weapon. While enroute to the incident, it was advised by dispatch this was a domestic related incident. Upon arrival, I spoke with the Victim/Complainant ([VICTIM ]). [VICTIM ] said her baby daddy (Zymon Williams) got upset with her because she got caught texting another guy. [VICTIM ] said Zyon asked her if he was her man and her response was no, you are not my boyfriend. [VICTIM ] said Zymon became hostile towards her and he pulled out his black Tauraus hand gun and pointed it towards her and said “Bi*ch, I will kill you”. Zymon then grabbed her neck and choked her and according to her it felt like 5-10 minutes.
[VICTIM ] said Zymon seemed mad enough or determined to choke her significantly which resulted in her to feel dizzy and light headed. [VICTIM ] further stated she had difficulty breathing and catching her breath during the choking. [VICTIM ] lunged towards him and hit Zymon, trying to free herself from his grasp. Zymon then punch [VICTIM ] in the face near her right cheek area causing a small cut to her lip area. [VICTIM ] threatened that she was calling the police for assistance. Zymon disengaged his altercation with [VICTIM ]. He walked towards the motel rooms door with the intent to exit. [VICTIM ] followed him out trying to remove his belongings, [VICTIM ] further stated Zmon left the residence and walked towards Abercorn St.
[VICTIM ] said this entire altercation took place in front of their 3 year old child ([REDACTED]).
Zymon was last seen wearing Red Jogging pants with a white shirt and wearing a blue back pack and having a black Taurus handgun in his possession.
During the investigation, Cpl Webster obtained video surveillance of the suspects description and leaving the area from room [REDACTED]. In the video, it showed Zymon slapping [VICTIM ] in the face as he continued to walk away from her.
[VICTIM ] said there has never been a domestic violence situation between them two in the past.
EMS responded to the scene and further medical treatment was declined by [VICTIM ].
Zymon is known to frequent the areas of Indiana Street on The East side of the city.
Victim advised she did not want any SAFE SHELTER Resources and advised she wanted to stay with family.
