On 8/24/24 at approximately 0926 I was dispatched to [2900 BLOCK] Millerfield Rd in reference to a Person Cut. Suspect name is Frank Byron.
Upon my arrival I noticed a male subject lying on the ground covered with blood, holding his stomach. The Victim was identified as [VICTIM ] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Mr. [VICTIM ] did have a stab wound to the stomach area. There were blood trails leading up to the front door steps to Mr. [VICTIM ]’s front door. Mr. [VICTIM ] was in a lot of pain and stated to me he was stabbed by a male subject named Frank. He pointed to the house that was next door which is [3000 BLOCK] Millerfield Rd and told me the suspect was in the house. EMS arrived and assessed Mr. [VICTIM ].
Mr. [VICTIM ]’s mother, [WITNESS ], stated her son [VICTIM ] walked next door to pay Mr. Frank $30 that he owed him. While at Mr. Franks house, an unknown argument took place and Mr. [VICTIM ] was stabbed in the stomach by Mr. Frank. Mr. [VICTIM ] returned and collapsed in the yard.
I walked over to [3000 BLOCK] Millerfield Rd to make with Mr. Frank. Mr. Frank came to the front door and identified his self. Mr. Frank was placed in handcuffs at that time. Mr. Frank stated the knife that was used was in the field next door to his house. The knife was recovered. It was a white handle steak knife. The knife will be entered into the crime lab as Evidence. Mr. [VICTIM ] was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Supervisor Sgt Page and Lt Kosmowski was notfied and responded. Persons Inv Moss was notified.
