Nolen, responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a domestic dispute.Upon arrival I met with the complainant, Ms. [VICTIM ]. Ms. [VICTIM ] said her ex just left and said his name is Gerald Butler DOB [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1967. Ms. [VICTIM ] said Mr. Butler came over to her residence and she asked him to leave. Ms. [VICTIM ] said they had been arguing for approximately an hour before she threatened to call the police. She asked him numerous times to leave and Ms. [VICTIM ] said she went inside and he followed her. Ms. [VICTIM ] said she went and grabbed her phone from the bedroom Ms. [VICTIM ] said Mr. Butler knocked the cell phone out of her hand and stated “you’re not calling the police”. Ms. [VICTIM ] said a struggle started and Mr. Butler was stepping on her cell phone. I noticed the TV knocked over that was on the bedroom dresser. I also noticed blood on the bed that Ms. [VICTIM ] said it must have been from Mr. Butler.Ms. [VICTIM ] said Mr. Butler pushed her against the couch so hard her head hit the door frame. I also noticed the couch was pushed with such force as to damage the wall. Ms. [VICTIM ] said she was bent over the couch when Mr. Butler was pushing her head and couch into the wall. I noticed Ms. [VICTIM ] had a red ear but no other injuries.Ms. [VICTIM ] said she was able to grab her phone and a knife to protect herself. Ms. [VICTIM ] said Mr. Butler grabbed the knife and ran out of the residence when she called 911. I was unable to locate Mr. Butler due to him leaving the scene prior to our arrival. I advised Ms. [VICTIM ] of Victims Rights and provided her with a case number of this incident. Warrants will be secured for Simple Battery FvA, obstruction of 911 call, and Criminal Trespass FVA.[End of Narrative].
